INFLUENCES! - Queens of The Stoneage

Combining an unlikely mixture of influences... metal, classic rock, psychedelic, pop, punk, and beyond, Queens of The Stone Age create an infectious and strikingly unique sound. One of the only bands who can bridge the gap between fans of lowbrow cock rock and opinionated snobs of the 'indie' genre. Josh Homme's voice is wonderfully deviant and carries a sexy-sly swagger with its effortlessness. Their first record is worth checking out but in my opinion its all about 'Lullabies To Paralyze' and 'Rated R'. (Rob Kolar)
