T - Shirt Vendors, Beware

Sometimes you go to a concert, or a sporting game and are tempted to buy a t-shirt from the guy or lady in the parking lot. Sometimes you buy the wrong size, or you discover when you get home it has a hole, or you wash it one time and it shrinks (see what happened to the poor guy in the picture above). Well, Mary J. Blige is fighting back against these folks who try and rip her off. Sounds to me like she has a very clever lawyer...

"March 26, 2008 -- WATCH out, bootleg T-shirt vendors! Mary J. Blige has filed a lawsuit in a Central Islip court against counterfeiters who will be selling knockoff "Heart of the City" tour T-shirts and merchandise outside her concert with Jay-Z at Nassau Coliseum tomorrow. "She is suing John Does and Jane Does numbered 1 though 100, so law enforcement can confiscate the bogus stuff as they are selling it," said a source. "Defendants will be selling and distributing unauthorized goods at [the] Coliseum bearing the marks of artist Mary J. Blige," the suit reads. "They are sued under fictitious names because their true names are unknown at this time."
